Registered Nurse (RN) – Vaccinator
Job Summary:
The RN Vaccinator administers vaccines in accordance with established protocols while ensuring patient safety, education, and accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer vaccines and immunizations according to clinical guidelines.
Assess patients for contraindications and obtain health history as needed.
Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide appropriate care.
Educate patients on vaccines, possible side effects, and follow-up instructions.
Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and comply with infection-control policies.
Requirements:
Active RN license in the applicable state.
Current BLS certification.
Previous vaccination, public health, outpatient, or clinical nursing experience preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and patient-care skills.
